G98 Canned Cycle Initial Point Return

After each hole, retracts to the Z height the tool was at before the cycle started. Clears clamps between holes.

What G98 does on a Haas mill

G98 and G99 decide where the tool goes after each hole in a canned cycle. G98 returns to the initial point — the Z position before the cycle line. G99 returns only to the R plane, which is faster.

Use G99 when the path between holes is clear and G98 when there is a clamp, a boss or a step between them.
