G83 Peck Drilling Cycle
Pecks on centre by Q and retracts to the R plane each peck to clear chips.
What G83 does on a Haas lathe
On a Haas lathe, G83 works like its mill counterpart but along the Z axis on centre: feed Q, retract to clear chips, return and continue.
Run it in G97 with a fixed RPM and feed per revolution (G99).
