Haas Lathe · G-code
G75 OD/ID Grooving Cycle
Pecks along X to cut grooves on the OD or ID, stepping along Z for wide grooves.
What G75 does on a Haas lathe
G75 plunges in X by I, retracts to break the chip, and continues to the X depth. With a Z end point and K step it cuts multiple plunges side by side to make a wide groove.
It is the standard way to rough grooves and part-off with chip control.
